Black Hammock Restaurant

If you are visiting Orlando area this is the most unique rustic FLA experience you will get hands down. Lake Jessup actually has the largest amount of Florida Gators that you can see live and prime time. An Airboat tour will give you a first hand look at Florida Marine life up close and personal. This is a hidden gem for any traveler that is looking for more than just a Disney experience.

Black Hammock is a great place to bring the family during the day and sit by the water and enjoy the scene while eating some delicious gator tail. At night is more for going out with the boys than a family atmosphere I kinda pushed my luck with this last weekend. But the kids were loving it. Foosball (my personal favorite) Cornhole (with all 4 bags even), Billards, and you can hold a 6 footer. Highly suggest it!

This is one of those places that you go to because it's a local landmark. It is an old restaurant with old roadside attraction features. They have some parrots and alligators that you can feed and airboat sides, as well as a gift shop.

The food was fine. The service was okay. The speed of food coming out was slow. I consider the prices to be high. We were in between meals, so we just shared food for four of us. One kids meal, one adult meal, two for one margaritas (one of those), and two sodas was $40 including the tip.

Food was really yummy. Loved their french fries and I don't even really like fries! Kirsten was our server and she was quick and very personable. All the food was good no complaints. The decor is awesome as well. Definitely reccomend!
