This is an incredibly lovely place to have breakfast. Not only is everything delicious, but the staff are so kind and attentive, and at such a reasonable price. We went on a VERY busy Mother's Day Sunday, and if this is how amazing they are when they are swamped, I cannot imagine how great they are on a normal day. The outdoor seating faces lovely landscaping and a trail for people watching. We really recommend the French Toast plate and the lemonade!
Five Star Service Featuring Flavorless Food
This restaurant receives three stars for the stellar customer service and attention the entire staff gives to the guests and cleanliness at Townhouse Restaurant. The restaurant and restroom area is exceptionally kept, which is remarkable considering that there was a moderate amount of local patrons dining in. The staff uses a team based service model by making sure that all servers check in on the tables to see if there is a need, whether the table belongs to the service person or not. This was impressive. Although the atmosphere and service were phenomenal, the main attraction, THE FOOD, was lackluster in flavor and overall presentation, including the dessert, which was underbaked. For this Townhouse Restaurant experience, the star of the show was the staff. If you want good food with full on flavor, keep driving.
If you go on a Sunday expect to wait for a table. Today was 25 min. Food was good. French Toast was delicious. Service was good. Server was attentive. Two us ate for $25.
Country fried steak and gravy was great. I added salt and pepper but each is there own. It's served with 2 eggs, grits or potatoes, toast or biscuit. I chose biscuits and added sausage gravy. The gravy has bits of sausage and done right! Eggs I ordered scrambled with cheese and we're cooked perfect. Kids ordered pancakes and french toast and cereal. They scarfed it all! I couldn't get a picture because they tore into it so fast. I was surprised to see cereal on the menu for kids. That was cool and they appreciated it. When we were outside waiting on a table the community rooster was crowing to say hello. This place is in walking distance of the Oviedo on the Park community area. Look forward to visiting again. This really is a great local spot!!
I wasn't a fan of their original location. They won me over in their new location. The service and the food in one word... Awesome! The French Toast is AMAZING! Prepare to wait on the weekends, so get in early and fill your belly! Two thumbs up.
