A Sanford institution at this point, and deservedly so. Good selection of well-kept German beers, and the food is well prepared traditional stick-to-the-ribs German fare. The sausages are a standout. Deserts are utterly heart stopping, but worth splitting between 2. The atmosphere makes it more enjoyable, with oompah music at weekends. Attentive, friendly staff.
Okay ladies and gentlemen, let me give you an actual review that you'll actually care for-
Firstly, If you're on a time crunch, don't even think about coming here. It took us 45 minutes to get a table (wasn't a problem because we walked around the town) BUT lemme say again. Come here if you want an EXPERIENCE, not just a meal.
Secondly, the food? Amazing. Liquid gold in my mouth from the first bite. Took a little while to get to us, but with the amount of people in the place I wasn't surprised.
Thirdly, atmosphere? 10/10. As a shy gal myself, I originally was a little intimidated by the environment. But by the time I was halfway through my meal, I was up doing the chicken dance and cheering on people with their boots.
Lovely place, lovely food, time can be a pain. Overall a 5 star experience and I would love to go again if I ever come back to Florida!
This restaurant is amazing. Great German food, great atmosphere, and very friendly wait staff. We had a party of 9 and or server was always on top of our drinks and made sure we were taken care of. The food came out quickly and everything tasted amazing. I would recommend the Willow Tree Cafe to anyone in the area or visiting
Nice restaurant but insanely loud music which gets on my nerves. Good food. If you want a peaceful and quiet dinner where you can actually hear the person next to you, don't go here. I had to talk so loudly, my throat hurt. Maybe it's because I was sitting inside. It seems a lot more peaceful and quiet outside. Anyway, the food was very good. I had no problem with the food at all. I like the flavor a lot and it was interesting.
I love it here especially when they have live music. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They make a special vegetarian dish for me that is always so tasty. It is always packed with happy folks enjoying good German foods. Plus they are expanding to accommodate larger crowds. Just a wonderful local restaurant everyone should stop and visit.
