This little Cafe is the jewel of Sanford's downtown. Gourmet all the way from soups to salads to sandwiches. The owners are very friendly and attentive. No detail has been overlooked to make your dining experience truly satisfying including the delicious FREE desserts. Well worth the 80 mile round trip to eat there again real soon.

This place was fantastic! The owner/chef greets you when you come in and explain s the menu, offering up suggestions! We had the French onion soup in a bread bowl and it was divine! It had a slightly sweeter note than you may expect but was very light on the salt. The bread was beautifully baked as well and great thing is you always get free dessert!

Quaint restaurant. Staff is very friendly and seems to know everyone, if they dont know you they make you feel like they do. I had a tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. Great pairing on a cool winter day. The tomato soup is not your traditional creamy tomato soup. It's more like a vegetable soup, tomatoes, spinach, onions, full of flavor. I was surprised with this great little cobbler dessert. It is a little pricey but big portions.
I'm excited to try an actual sandwich next time, the staff was raving about their chicken sandwich.

Great place. Amazing food with a neat presentation. Great wait staff, Chef Michael and his staff are so nice! Good prices too, I was a bit worried about the prices since it's "gourmet2go" but they were reasonable. I got the half salad/soup, they didn't feel like half portions though! Definitely worth the price. Sooo filling and good. Each meal comes with a soda or tea and also if you finish your plate you get a free dessert! Will be back when I'm in the area.
