This was the most amazing Mexican food that I have ever tried. Everything was fresh and homemade. You can watch as they make their own tortillas. Sprinkled with a little salt after they get off the grill, and you will never feel the same about store-bought tortillas again. The freshly squeezed pineapple and ginger juice was excellent and healthy. Treat yourself to the Salsa Trio and you will add a unique flavor to every bite. Don't skip on dessert! I had the homemade flan, and it was stellar. This is true Mexican food. There isn't another restaurant out there that has this quality and service.
I have to give the restaurant 5 stars because the food was great, the place was clean and the music was ON POINT!! However, had it not been for the manager Erica saving the night, I would have given lesser stars. To the two young ladies who served us last night, Erica is the right person to go to for more training. Your restaurant will be unbeatable to the rest if you just get a handle on that. I don't want to take away from the 5 starts by listing the things that they did, but one of them was MAJOR and would have been a deal breaker had Erica not stepped in and cleaned up the mistakes. You have a really good establishment there and it is imperative that ALL of your customers are treated fairly because you never know when you are entertaining angels who are preparing to bless you.
Got seated quickly but then ignored for 20min. I had to get up and ask for the server before we were greeted and our orders taken. Food was good but very limited vegetarian options. I would go again because I know they just opened recently and might be working out some kinks.
So, excited to try this restaurant. Walked in on Friday afternoon for late lunch. There was no one at the door to greet so I self seated at the bar. The restaurant staff was gathered at the back of the bar. I saw one of them drinking from a shot glass. Bartender brings menu and room temperature tap water. Food was average, chips and salsa great. Overall atmosphere was very nice. Just need to do a couple of things to bring it up to 5 stars. More professional staff, cold water and maybe a sign on the door with your actual hours.
The atmosphere and energy was very welcoming. Felt like you were being served at your family’s house. The food was also very good. And the flan was amazing. Nico was our server along with Maria who assisted and they did an amazing job with recommendations. As well as Diana. I will be coming back to try more items off of the menu.
