Dali’s Lao Thai Cafe

I have not eaten much Lao/Thai cuisine in my life, so I am really not much of an expert. I did greatly enjoy the experience of eating here though when I came by about a week ago. I got the Tom Khem which is some delicious pork pieces and eggs that have been stewed in this slightly sweet and mostly savory sauce. It was simply but delightful and perfect for a day where you just want some comfort food. They also provided a large ball of rice with it that was about perfect. I also purchased some egg rolls, which were very fresh and tasty. They were a nice complement to the stew since it came with no vegetables.

The dish had no spicyness to it, so if that is a concern when going to a restaurant like this then this would be a perfect choice. I would get this dish again if given the opportunity. The store was nice, service was relatively fast.

I have yet to go to a Thai restaurant that I enjoy as much as my grandmother's cooking. A majority of my child hood was spent eating my grandma's Thai cooking so I find myself being extremely picky with certain dishes. I am so pleased with everything I've tried on this menu. Both the red curry and panang are at the top of my favorites. Thank you for making comfort food that I can find so close to home!!

I just recently moved to the area and as a spicy food lovers I was very excited to find a good Thai/Lao place near where i live. Their spicy sausages were remarkable and Thai tea was so yum!!! Tried a couple other dishes that were so good unfortunately don’t reminder the names. Don’t judge their food by the look of their place. It might look small and not fancy from the outside but the food is super good.

My Order consisted of... Spring rolls, pork fried rice, chicken wings with sweet chili sauce and red chicken curry with white rice. All the food was great but those chicken wings were delicious. I’ve ordered pad Thai before and I don’t think that’s their specialty or perhaps it was an off night for the chef. But all the other items from Alice I would order again and hasn’t ordered again(all stil delicious)!!

Thai beef basil is exceptional. Fresh spring rolls (some call summer) with pork and shrimp are very good. Overall, attentive service and quick delectable food. I will be back many, many times!
