This place is the real deal. It’s only open Thursday through Saturday and it’s easy to miss because they are doing construction on 46 in Sanford. If you do make it, you will be so happy that you did. The ribs are the best that I’ve ever had, with a wonderful Carolina style sauce. This place is definitely a “hole in the wall” type restaurant but you can’t beat the taste of this barbecue. They have a smoker in the back and the taste of the the meat is exquisite. The sides are just as good and authentic as the meats.
Map it out before you go so that you know where you are going. There is limited seating but I usually just do takeout. If you want real, authentic barbecue, this is the spot for you.

I recently found out that my friend Jeff had his own BBQ joint, so when I was in Sanford I had to check it out. I had some of his ribs and WOW they were amazing. He makes his own sauce that has been passed down from his father and you can tell how much passion he puts into his food by how well it's made. The ribs were so tender and juicy. Honestly some of the best ribs I've ever had in my life. I got a mix of his Mild and Spicy sauce on mine and it was the perfect mix. The restaurant is a bit of a "hole in the wall" type of place, but sometimes those places have the best food. Keep your eyes peeled for it when you drive by or you might miss it.

Great guy and great food. Pork and chicken is exceptional. Next visit I am ordering ribs, tender and tasty.

I measure my weeks in Saturdays because of how tasty this food is. Good ribs, good sauce (get it spicy folks), and even better service from my man Mr. Jeff. Worth the short drive from Sanford!
