The General Public House

Went here one night for dinner with one of my friends. We had a nice experience, food was great, service was excellent. We had some cocktails, dinner and the peanut butter pie for dessert. Very cute atmosphere kind of a farmhouse type of feel. Menu was a little small but we both really enjoyed our entrees.

Always delicious! It’s a staple date night spot for us. We’re able to walk to the location, grab a few drinks and the food is different, but in a great way! The menu puts a twist on home style items that keeps ya coming back. Their oyster appetizer is delish!

Great food, great ambiance. Based on recommendations that I saw here, I ordered the onion soup and it was even better than I anticipated! I also got a side of grits and they were great. Will come back!

Easy review for The General Public House!! 5-stars all the way. We come on slow days, average days, and busy days - always great service! The original menu was awesome, but the new items that have been added recently are highly worth a try. I do wish more drafts were available but I certainly wouldn't dock a review over that. Come on out - you won't be disappointed!

Amazing farm-to-table brunch, lunch and dinner, you can’t go wrong. Phenomenal craft cocktails and great happy hour. Friendly staff and exceptional ownership. Great all-around atmosphere. Plenty of gluten-free options available. Highly recommend!
