Firehouse Subs

This place is really hit or miss. The food is usually pretty good. However, there are a quite a few nights where I've gone in and my sub has been barely warm or they've gotten my order wrong. They're always polite and apologetic but it just seems like there isn't much concern.

Told them no pickle and they always put a stupid pickle in there. I don't even like to smell a dill pickle.

The staff is always friendly and super nice, and the restaurant is always clean. However to say fast food is a stretch...we go here for take out on busy days and IF there is a line at the register it moves quickly...and then we wait...I am no expert (but I have been to other firehouse sub locations) and I think this location needs a new toaster...this one moves quite slowly YET my subs consistently seem to be warmed NOT toasted, one time recently it was actually soggy and difficult to pick up (and it was a normal sub (turkey/bacon/cheese/toppings) not one you expect super messy. So far these issues have not stopped us from going back (unless we are in a hurry) because even soggy the taste is delicious and workers are nice.

Love the subs here. Fresh and various kinds. Staff is young and helpful. Call ahead or Internet orders for pick up too
