Sushi was good but we waited for what I thought was too long for how busy it was. Thai food was below average. Lunch menu.
This place was amazing! I love sushi and have been to many sushi places and this is one of the best. The menu had great choices and it was all presented beautifully. Our server Yoyo was great. She brought all the appetizers and food out with perfect timing and made sure we were taken care of throughout the entire meal. This place will see alot more of us.
My first experience at this restaurant was great. Everything was fresh and the sushi rolls were great. However, this time, the hot food tasted microwaved and was either very hot, or cold in some parts. Sushi rice was overcooked, was extremely mushy, and had the texture of something awful. The rolls were also significantly smaller than my previous visit, as well as having fewer pieces, though that may be based on the roll, but the menu doesn't say how many pieces come with the roll. I also ordered a water, and it tasted like something straight from a toilet. Giving it a 3 instead of a 1 because maybe it was just a rough night, because the first time was so good. The staff are also very nice and are one of the best parts about eating here.
Great local Asian fusion restaurant with a Sushi Bar in Ponte Vedra. I like the Thai dishes like the Tom Yum soup with a side of white rice. Also the Mongolian beef is the best - tops PF Chang's.
Update. While for the most part the fish is still quite fresh, several visits have led me to now stop coming here. We've ordered the same thing at least 12 times in the past 6-8 months (maybe 30+ over 2 years); love boat for 2, with an upgrade to more exciting rolls (for instance Alex 1986, royal krab). Tonight however, we were told by "stephen" (maybe an owner, or manager) that this was no longer allowed. Unfortunately, after visiting here tonight and receiving this news, it is not worth it for us to return, and we will be taking our business elsewhere. Be prepared to pay $$$ when you come here now. I appreciate the waitress who helped us tonight, and am grateful for her understanding.
