Mango Mangos

On our way to St Augustine
On our way to spend the weekend in St Augustine we stopped at this little gem of a restaurant at the beach. The food was awesome!
I had the coconut shrimp with an amazing "colada" doing sauce best I've ever had. We also split the corn cake.... It was not exactly what I was expecting, but it was one of the best things I've eaten in a long time, it has an explosion of flavors. If you go you must order that.

Nice cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious. I had the haddock tacos, I would have preferred a slightly larger piece of fish, my husband and daughter had the coconut shrimp their portions were huge.
I would definitely return and I highly recommend Mango Mango.

Food was very good and reasonable price. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

We had a large group to which they automatically applied a tip, which we didn't notice and they didn't mention it. So we tipped 40 percent that night

It could have slipped their mind or better still it could have been displayed better on check.

In any case, I'd go back again.

My grandparents and I had never been here before. It was very busy when we came and we were told we would be seated in 25 minutes. There was a comfortable patio where we could wait and peruse the menu. They texted us to let us know when they were available and came outside to find us, which was very convenient. We were seated in 20 minutes (another waiting group bailed). Service was speedy, friendly, and very helpful. My grandmother is gluten free and our server knew the options by heart, even asking about contact sensitivity and warning about soy sauce in the rice. The food came quickly and was amazing! It was plated beautifully and full of fresh and exciting flavors. This restaurant is now part of every itinerary for when we go to St. Augustine.

Ok. Tried this place which was right across from where we we were staying 5 days into our trip. Best food of the trip! Delicious, fresh and great service. Not "fancy" but comfortable and left very happy. Great Caribbean flair and fish and chips were wonderful! Go!!!
