This diner was truly a great experience. I love the fact that the first you see you go up the ramp to the address is the garden. Apparently the restuarant grows their own herbs and vegetables for their food. Meaning, its fresh ! The food we had tasted really good. I loved the decor inside, maybe me feel like I was in another era. The staff was absolutely friendly. If I am ever in the St. Augustine area again, I will definitely come here to grab a bite to eat.
What a great place. Love the servers and home diner feel. Pet friendly on the patio and such an amazing collection of plants soaking up the Florida sun. Every dish and meal I have (and every dish I try from the plates of others at my table) are yum, large portions, fair price, diverse choices, and authentic. Thank you team for making Georgie's a must visit every timer I'm in town!
We stumbled upon this gem of a diner and couldn’t be more pleased. The AC felt wonderful against the hot air outside, and the servers were immediately attentive. The decor was charming, and seats were plentiful. The menu was vast and provided quite a few options for the gluten-free and dairy-free dietary restrictions of my friend. In fact, she said they had more options than she’s seen in a long time at a restaurant.
The food arrived quickly and was even better than expected. Portion sizes were huge and the cost wasn’t bad at all.
Between great service, cool AC, and fantastic food, I’d definitely go back. In fact, in this girl’s opinion, this gem beat out our lunch in the historic district at a well-known eatery.
If you need that New York diner feel in the South, this is the place to go. Breakfast is available all day. You only think you like tuna if you haven't had their tuna melt. After an exhausting day checking out all the sites we could get to in one day and hitting the beach, this place was the perfect end. The sweet lady who took care of us was the kindest! Eat here if you don't want to fight the downtown traffic and crowds.
Absolutely amazing. It was absolutely stunning. The retro look was pulled off amazingly. The food was amazing .I got gyro and it was the best I have ever tasted. Waitresses we're very polite and nice. Service was pretty good. 5 stars for sure though. Would definitely recommend.
