Sakada Japanese Steak House

Have never had a bad meal or experience. When. My family is in town they always want to go here and enjoy the show and food

The Sushi was fresh and well prepared, the dining room was clean, and the prices were reasonable. The service, however, was a little spotty and the drink menu was just not up to snuff. I don't think they have a proper liquor license as all of the available cocktails were saki based. The martini was not great; barely alcoholic but premium priced. I was also a little bummed that they didn't serve scorpion bowls.

The menu is an interesting blend of Japanese and Chinese foods, and everything we had was delicious, not greasy, not over spiced and presented very attractively. Don't be fooled by how the outside looks. The inside is very nicely kept. The staff was attentive, but not overbearing.

I liked my sushi, I got a hand roll and it was perfect. My friends got different dishes and were both pleased. Theirs were generous servings. I tried one of the appetizers and was pleased with that, too. The staff are friendly, respectful and helpful. Parking was fairly easy, too.

First, the food was really great. We went here for lunch and wanted to sit at one of the tables/grills where they cook in front of you. It was early and they seemed like they were not ready to open up that table yet but they were extremely nice and did so anyway. We were here on vacation with our 5 year old daughter and were used to that type of hibachi in our hometown. The entire staff was very nice and checked in on us periodically. Overall a great experience.
