Salt Water Cowboys

So I started coming here back in the early 1980’s on our family vacation, not much has changed and glad it hasn’t. On this visit I wanted to see what I been missing along with some new photos of the place to remember it. I had the Gator bites and sweet tea for a appetizer. The insides hasn’t changed much either. I guess when you have a good thing going then why change it!!

Great! The food and the atmosphere was Fantastic! Great service and even though it was a big crowd we were seated quickly. We go there every time we come to Saint Augustine!

An out of the way location, well worth the trip. A great location on the marsh, very rustic and comfortable. Outstanding food. We had 5 entrees and 3 appetizers all very good. If you're there when the Rock Shrimp are in season they are not to be missed. Friendly staff good service. Be prepared to wait for a table, it will be worth it.

Love this restaurant! The wait was long but definitely worth the wait! The staff is friendly, the view is relaxing, and the food is out of this world! We had the stuffed shrimp and the fried shrimp/scallops. All of it was terrific! The waitress was sweet and knowledgeable. Looking forward to being in St. Augustine again and going to Salt Water Cowboys!

Great place for an authentic Floridian dining experience. The atmosphere fits the name perfectly. The food was fantastic. I had the Pan Blackened Catfish- perfection. My wife shared the 1/2 fried chicken with her mom & they lived it. The vegetables were candied carrots which were excellent. Our waitress was super sweet but very busy. Service was very good.
