This is my favorite place to hate. When they’re good, they’re really good. When they’re bad- just skip the middle man and toss that stuff right in the toilet. We’ve eaten here over a dozen times. About half, they are really great. Service is always lacking, slow or clumsy as I’ve had stuff spilled on me, but always pleasant. The sushi is always well constructed but sometimes not fresh. Cooked food is inconsistent being near perfect to so over cooked it leaves you wanting McDonalds.
I love to eat here, I orswe from here up to like 4 times a week. They could stand to work on service a little better, but they are over all amazing. They don't usually disappoint.!!!
I'm not sure what to make of the mixed reviews on this place. I've never personally dined in here, so I can't speak on the staff, but we get takeout all the time and the food is always good. Is it the best cuisine I've ever had? No, but it is good food and I enjoy eating it. I always order the shrimp fried rice and pork gyoza. I've always enjoyed it and would certainly recommend it to friends.
Tank's Sushi was on par for a quick sushi meal. Service was quick, but we were the only people in the restaurant that night. They had a Kobe beef appetizer that was good but rather expensive for what was served. The teriyaki chicken meal was tasty. Price was good, amount of food served was good. I would like to try the sushi the next time we go. Parking is free. Restaurant appeared clean.
This is the best sushi place I've been to in many years and many states. Their fish was very fresh and tasted great. They had incredible specials, such as a large raw scallop, thinly sliced and oysters from Japan that were so good, better than any oysters I've had and I have oysters often. Also they had sea urchin which I've been wanting to try for a long time. Our server was very friendly as well as everyone else we encountered. The atmosphere is perfect, plenty of people enjoying themselves and not too quiet or too loud. I will come back here every time I am in the area. The only downside was the wine list which was very limited and overpriced. (Barefoot for $23 a bottle.) They would not have a hard time selling some better wines considering their wonderful menu. Do not hesitate to eat here! You won't be disappointed.
