This is a large beautiful historic St. Augustine house, right across the street overlooking the water, supposedly haunted, and is an excellent restaurant. Our entrees were flavorful and my mixed drink the best. The wait staff is attentive, and although the place was packed with people waiting and those dining, our wait was still only maybe 15 minutes. If you want to try to communicate with the most well-known spirit, I think her name is Catalina, visit the second floor ladies restroom (which used to be where her bedroom was). I wasn't alone in there, so I didn't try talking to her and didn't feel her presence. We had to park (paid parking) several blocks away because this whole area is very touristy, but we enjoy walking so it was no big deal to us. Inside and outside seating is available, but dining outdoors is at your own risk. If it it rains, don't expect to find a table inside. It is that crowded!
Harry's was an awesome choice for dinner. Both the food and service were great!! Our server, Mike, delivered the best service. He was super attentive to our needs and never let our drinks run low. His menu suggestions were perfect and his personality made us feel warm and welcome. The taste of each dish was perfection. I will suggest for others to visit Harry's and ask for Mike. :-)
Harry's is New Orleans style food located in St Augustine, FL. It was very crowded Sunday, so service was a little slow. It was worth the wait, for sure. I had a chicken breast on a grits cake with this excellent sauce that was absolutely fantastic. There is such a wide variety of food and beverages it took us a few minutes. There were 6 of us having a late lunch cost us $100.00. I feel it was well worth the price, especially after tasting the delicious food. I would recommend Harry's Seafood, Bar and grill located in St Augustine across from the Bridge of Lions.
Awesome food at a great price! Very neat building with a historic background. Great view of the harbor if you are lucky enough to sit on the balcony. We were here during the light festival which made the whole town wildly congested and I recommend if you go, try for an odd hour to have less of a wait but off-season should be much calmer.
Highly recommend!
Very good food for a moderate price. Full bar on first and second floor, nice decoration. Many new style plates with a perfect combination of seasoning and a touch of spicy. Our waitress was very nice, he helped us with the menu selection, he was also super friendly and helped us by fixing something special for our daughter. We will definitely go back to Harry's on our next trip to St. Agustin.
