Hillary's Chicago Pizza

Chicago deep dish pizza is a favorite of mine, and I've gone through plenty of moments of withdrawals. So when I found out, Chicago native Hillary was making pizzas in Jacksonville. I knew I just had to give her a try. She did not disappoint. Hillary and her husband are very sweet and accommodating people. I first came across them at the Fernandina Beach Farmer's Market, where they were selling individual pies. That particular day, they'd run out, but gave me a car and told me to contact them, and they would make me a pizza.

I ordered a pepperoni deep dish, and this thing did not disappoint. It had that nice buttery cornmeal crust, and they did not skimp on the filling at all. And it was also easy to reheat, which was a plus. Although not quite that Chicago taste that I wanted, it was definitely an 8/10 and I would for sure order again. Happy to see they have now opened an actual restaurant. I will visit sometime soon.i wish them all the success in the world.

Absolutely phenomenal cozy little place! the atmosphere is very warm and inviting :) Bruce and his wife are just wonderful, down to earth people :) we started off with the pretzel and beer cheese, my gf and I aren’t really beer cheese people, but this beer cheese is the exception! Insanely delicious! The tavern pizza is really good too!! But the star of the show is the deep dish!! Better than carmines in Jax! The crunch…ohh the crunch of the crust has my mouth watering even after eating it tonight, the best crust I’ve ever had on a pizza!! The strawberry cheesecake is good too! Love this place! Definitely coming back soon!!

Fantastic authentic Chicago Pizza. Anyone who has looked, but hasn't been able to find truly authentic Chicago Pizza, look no further. Family owned and operated by true Chicagoans, this place delivers where other pizza places fail. Add to this the great selection of craft beers and select wines, and the infamous Chicago Beef sandwich to the menu, and what you have is a wonderfully personalized dinning experience with all the warmth of home cooking.

As a Chicagoan, I have been searching for a location in Northeast Florida that has authentic Chicago Style Deep Dish. This place does it right! It has its own great unique flavor, like what you'd get at a tavern in Chicago... I will be back again! Definitely try this place if you're looking for Chicago Deep Dish or have yet to try it... you'll get the whole experience of it... but yes, be prepared to wait 45 minutes for it... that's just the way we do it in Chicago!!!

The BEST Chicago deep dish AND thin crust pizza to be had! The flavors are just perfect, you don’t need to add any extras to the pizza because the crust, sauce and toppings are each seasoned well. They are serious about where they source their ingredients from, which is the first indication that they mean business. They are here to share their native Chicagoan food with Floridians and we love it! Best part about the vibe is it is not uppity or frou-frou - so you are here for good food, good beer and family style service. We love Hillary and the team, and have been eating her pizzas since they practically moved here in 2020. Keep up the amazing work you guys!! 🔥🤩🍕
