Pizzalley's on St. George

The pizza here is phenomenal! I happened upon this restaurant on a one night trip to St. Augustine. It was within walking distance of my hotel and the downtown area. The pizza dough was thick enough to have a crunchy outer layer and a soft inner layer. I had the Greek pizza, which came with these marinated mushrooms... delicious flavor and very speedy service! I hope to come back to St. Augustine and Pizzalley's.

The last time I ate here was 15 years ago, when I was in college. We have talked about visiting Saint Augustine for Spring Break and I had to look this place up to see if it's still open. I'm very pleased to see that it is. After 15 years it's still the best pizza I have ever had. I can't wait to come eat here again in March!

The pizza was good the dough was great somewhat soft after being cooked but with a crispy bottom and the ingredients tasted fresh and appropriately portioned. Woodfired oven would be better but it’s still good pizza. We hit it at peak season apparently because we had a long wait but that’s not normal for this restaurant. Definitely very popular.

We walked the whole downtown tourist area looking for veg friendly restaurants.
We passed this place twice because, we didn't want boring Italian.
Finally walked in and WOW! It was AMAZING!
I had the best meal in St. Augustine.
Everything was fresh, never frozen, and made in house. Daniel, our server was incredibly nice and helpful. They had non-alcoholic beer too at a very reasonable price!
Really an excellent restaurant.

Really good pizza. Not fast food pizza, real pizza. Great quality and real flavor. And you can even watch them feed the oven!
