The food was excellent. I thought it was a bit overpriced,but that goes with the location.
We sat outside and had a good breeze until dusk and the"no seeums" (bugs) came and started biting. Food was excellent. Chicken Francaise and crab cakes.
Crab cakes that are true crab cakes! They were very tasty! Great view & friendly owner/manager. Great experience
Enjoyed waterside seating,...recommend grouper bites and scallops... Very welcoming with great service. Happy hour was fun with nice house wines.
We arrived around 5:30 on a week night in March 2019. When we walked in, the restaurant was nearly empty, and they seemed apprehensive when we said that we did not have a reservation. We were seated in the back, however, and the restaurant quickly filled up. It is a small restaurant, and somewhat more pricey than we expected, especially because they seem to cater to the local owners and docked boaters on Nettles Island. The service was good, and the food was good, but not spectacular. The manager/owner appears to run an extremely tight ship.
It's a cozy little place with a nice view of the boats docked just outside. It would be a nice place to bring a date.
