Machu Picchu is wild and flavorful food, in great quantity, at crazy reasonable prices. There is so much that's good on the menu that one trip is not going to give you the experience. I figure three trips just to get to the menu dishes on my short list.

you really need to eat here. The menu is diverse with beef, pork, chicken and seafood dishes prepared with Peruvian recipes. We both had seafood dishes that were flash fried to perfection. Not greasy, not tough, just perfect and they were topped with a salad with pickled onions and other veggies that strangely enough, was a perfect accompaniment to it. In addition, they will bring out a dish of toasted Peruvian corn that is quite simply the best salty snack I've ever had. I told the chef who came out to check on our experience that he should consider selling that by the pound.

This was our first time it's a small place only one server. There are about ten tables and a counter with four high chairs. The food was very fresh and pretty fast .only can sodas no fountain drinks . We ordered the fried yucca with a cheese sauce not spicy that was good . I used the left over cheese sauce on a steak I had with white rice sweet plantains and a fried egg it also came with French fries. The steak was ordered medium and was perfectly cooked pink not over done. We also had the trifongo which is a mix of sweet and green plantains with shrimp with an awesome sauce to die for each order can serve two. Will be back definitely to try other plates.

Absolutely awesome. Probably the best Peruvian food I have had in the USA and I have been to many greatly advertised Peruvian restaurants. Super good cook! Just like in Peru. Small, but cozy place and people are very cordial. Great job!
