Finally made it over to try out this new restaurant. Been hearing good and bad. My BFF and I tried the "Langusto" house special. It consisted of Lobster (half tail), shrimp ( 2 large), and scallops (3) over handmade large wide noodles and a tomato based sauce. At first we thought the portions were small but after splitting the dish, we were both satisfied and full. It was very good. Tasty and hot... I've never tried Scallops before and found them to be very good; buttery and melted in my mouth. Of course I'm spoiled because I've had Maine lobster, but this lobster and shrimp were very good. Lastly have to give shout out to Kevin our server. He made our dining experience very wonderful. He was very knowledgable and patiently answered my multiple questions. Cant wait to come back for the pizza.
We have eaten at this restaurant several times and each time it has been superb. Pasquale and his wife, Joanna, are always there on top of things. They, as well as their staff, work very hard to make sure they deliver a quality product and experience. We are very happy to have an excellent independent restaurant in our community.
Nice place in tradition, new owner, pasta is fresh made, you can see the guy making it, the courtesy bread has too much parmesan cheese and it would be great if it is warmed, meatball sandwich for my kids and they loved it and the pizza is thin crust(we tried the cheese and the mixed mushroom) really good, the pasta fradiavolo with seafood is delicious, pasta fagioli soup has a good taste but it is too thick and heavy, it is more like a puree based I wouldn’t recommend that, chicken Milanese had a little bit too much olive oil so my husband couldn’t finish but we will know next time to modify a little bit.
Service is great, restrooms clean. Prices average and worth for the quality of the food.
In general we love the place, had been here three times already since the new owner and will be coming many times.
My wife and I couldn't be any happier with our meal today. Friend of mine recommend Pastaio and we gave it a try. The ribs on the small dish section was excellent. The meat was extremely tender and sauce was perfect. The 2 pizzas ordered were really good. The first was a cauliflower crust. You would never known it was cauliflower. Crust was thin and crispy. Sauce on top was very good with fresh mozzarella. Second pizza was 12" with sausage and onion. Again really good. I personally like the wood burning oven. Makes the crust a little crispy. They make their pasta from scratch and out where everyone can see it being made. We will definetly be back. Keep up the great work.
My husband and I had dinner last night at Pastaio. The food was amazing. Our waitress, Paige, was also amazing. So friendly and efficient. Pasquale, the owner visited all tables to find out how everyone was doing and if they were satisfied with their meal. Everything is made from scratch and to perfection. We could hear people at other tables commenting on how good their meal was. We will definitely be going back sooner than later.
