Greek chicken salad was superb, fresh and generous portion. Excellent hummus & Pita bread.
Always has excellent Italian dinners. The baked cannelloni is really tasty and authentic looking. Also has ice cold frozen beer mugs. Soup of the day was a Greek lemon chicken soup and it's different but delicious. Great place to eat!
They're looking for servers and hosts right now, and they need them, badly. During my hour and a half long time in the restaurant I saw only one server, and that's on a Saturday night! The server we had was kind enough, though extremely forgetful, whether that was from lack of experience or stress is hard to say. The atmosphere would probably be fine, if it didn't feel like everyone in the room was waiting to be served, and getting slightly more tense every time someone else is getting served by the lone server. Under said conditions, the cheerful Greek music playing kind of feels like elevator music being played at a funeral.
Service aside, though, the food was excellent! I ordered a Meat Lover's Calzone, and it was nice to enjoy one where you could taste the individual ingredients, made by a chef that knows how to exercise a little restraint when it comes to garlic and butter. The meat within the golden, chewy crust was juicy and well seasoned, while not being greasy. Even the meatballs were moist, which I assume would've been the first thing to go dry during baking. The meat to cheese ratio was spot on as well. All in all a great food experience.
A solid 3 right now, I'd say a 4 or a 4.5 when fully staffed. They've got good food, if you've got time to wait.
