(March 23, 2019, 6:31 pm)We are new to the Branford area and were given multiple suggestions to try China House for dinner. While we weren’t expecting a counter order restaurant, the only negative I have is that I prefer a full size, sturdy fork, and the ones we got were small and thin. That however, did not stop us from enjoying a fantastic meal. The fried dumplings were stuffed with meat, and were delicious. And all of our meals were flavorful and tasty.
The young lady at the counter was courteous and helpful, and I’m sure we can ask for a little more ‘heat’ the next time we visit, which will be soon. (The Szechuan chicken was much milder than we prefer, but the flavor was so good it hardly mattered. We just added some red chili oil.)
I am looking forward to sampling many more dishes at China House! -
