Always good food and good service.

We we're greeted upon walking in the door and seated very quickly. Staff was attentive and friendly. The place smelled of fire and smoked meats which I think is awesome! Menu was simple but had plenty of choices! I ordered the beef dinner with potato salad and cole slaw. My wife had the working man's cheeseburger with fries. Food came out quick and hot. My sliced beef was full of smoke flavor but a bit dry. The potato salad and cole slaw was fresh and crisp! The burger my wife ordered she said was more vegies than meat but said the burger was cooked well and had good flavor. The fries were crisp and hot. We never had to wait for refills on our drinks or for any service for that matter. Prices were very fair. Had it not been for the beef being on the dry side, we would have rated a 5. I will add the BBQ here is much better than the big place on the other side of Live Oak. A much friendlier place to go to as well!
