Mama's Italian Family Restaurant

What a nice hidden gem. We stopped in on our way home from vacation and we were starving. From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted by a friendly face, we receded immediately and our waitress was at our table within minutes. She got our drink orders and our appetizer orders right away and then came back to see if we were ready to order. As we were ordering our appetizers came out and they were absolutely out of this world. My husband and daughter had the clams and myself and a friend had the cheese curds everything that came out was absolutely delicious and looked picture perfect amazing. After our appetizers they brought us breadsticks to hold the kids over until our meals came out which was almost instantly. Everybody's meal was perfect, delicious and big portions for the price, it was a very nice restaurant and we will definitely be back. Our waitress was phenomenal and made sure the kids were taken care of for anything they needed which makes our dinner that much better thanks for the great food and the great experience we will definitely be back.

My brother and I had dinner there this evening. I had tomato bisque soup, herb crusted grouper with fresh steamed veggies and garlic mashed potatoes. My brother had the fried fish platter with french fries and a salad. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well presented. The young lady who waited on us was exemplary. If you are in the area traveling or you live here, do try this wonderful restaurant.

As always, the food was delicious. But the variety of dishes changes, and we ate meals we had never eaten there before, one was a fish dinner with a type of fish we had never heard of and the other was a seafood dinner containing shrimp, calamari, Bay .scallops and other goodies in a cream type sauce. Both meals were out of this world, and very reasonably priced for what you got. Our waiter was great, he knew everything there was to know about each dish because he had eaten most of them himself. It's been awhile since we ate there but we won't wait so long before we go again

The food here us AMAZING! I had the fish sandwich with the pasta salad and my husband had the smothered steak sandwich with fries. Finished our meal with the most moist chocolate, melt in your mouth, cake with a scoop of ice cream and coffee. The prices are reasonable, the staff delightful and the restaurant clean. That's the perfect combination in my book! Non-locals, it's worth the drive to Perry FL. Go hungry. YOU'RE WELCOME!!
