My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner this Saturday. The salad and dressing was fantastic along with the butter ball bread. We had the potpie which again was excellent. Our mixed drinks were just like we fix at home (did not fill your glass with ice and a few drops of liquor). Will definitely return.
My mother and I had a wonderful meal here last night. I found this restaurant using Google Maps and after reading the reviews we decided to give it a try. Excellent service and reasonable pricing for the area. The seared sesame encrusted tuna that I had was amazing and they replaced the rice cake with grilled vegetables at my request. Mom had the Mixed up salad and said it was the perfect amount and the dressing was scrumptious. I will definitely have more meals here in the future.
The staff was very nice and the food was great! Chicken soup was absolutely delicious. Best soup I've ever had. Drinks were a little strong for my mom but the waitress and bartender were very accommodating. While it's a bit more pricey, I'd have to say it was definitely worth it and I would definitely recommend!
Overall we had a mediocre experience. Some dishes had pieces that were over cooked (like my daughters chicken) or too oily (like the rice mixture and grilled veggies) but not to the point of it not being edible. We had a big table but I did call a week in advance for the reservation expecting the proper accommodations of staff. Unfortunately it was a busy day and our waitress didn’t spend much time helping us at all, nor did she have much help. The experience was hindered because of the lack of attention to what our table needed (food brought out and 10 minutes went by before someone was around for us to ask for silverware that was never brought. No napkins so we had to get up to get our own, scarce on refills due to lack of attention) I do want to go back but the thought of how the service was alters that thought. the restaurant itself was clean but the menus were covered in debris and sticky/stained food spots. They were paper so its not like you could wipe it off either. The menu gave off a really great message about making the restaurant a place where people can come together to eat and spend time together. Maybe next time we will have that experience instead of constantly trying to hunt down someone to help.
