St. John's River Grille

The food, drinks and atmosphere are great! I went there for a work gathering, but I'll definitely be going back on my own to enjoy the restaurant. It's right on the river and you could even pack your fishing gear and make an afternoon of leisure. Nice little hidden gem.

honestly, I have not loved this place in the past. But this evening, we had great service and the food was really really good. Outside, on the river, and it was just a wonderful evening. Decent prices too. And they finally have a happy hour!

First, we went on the Blue Heron Boat Tour with Captain Josh, I believe. He was a great Captain and humorous!! Aside his knowledge of the river and it's creature inhabitants, he was totally cool with goin' with the flow and stopping to see things that some of us pointed out. Apparently even the birds that you may only see once in a lifetime, decided to make an appearance, so that was awesome...!! My son really enjoyed the tour as well!! We had a pretty great group on our tour. Once we got back, we ate at St. John's River Grille Restaurant which was delicious!! Our waitress was great too, and had just the right amount of attentiveness. I wish I could remember her name. Terribly sorry. It's a nice spot to eat though, with great service!! You'll be hungry once you get off that boat!!

My uncle treated us to a wonderful meal here and I can't wait to bring my friends out here, it is worth the drive. Not certain scenery along the water, boats passing by at times. Great way to spend an afternoon. The fish I had was fresh and think breaded, very tasty. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. We stayed past eating just to enjoy the view and no one rushed us to leave, a nice crazy change from some of the more chain like restaurants in town.
