Blau

I came to Blau for the first time last night to meet up with some out of town family who were visiting. We had good drinks to start (moscow mules and an Old Fashioned), the crab soup, and each dish we ordered was cooked exactly to our preference. The only bad part of the experience was the somewhat limited menu, but it was explained to us that they were going through some revisions and overhauls, so I feel that is to be expected. For a first time visit, it was definitely satisfactory and I'll come back again to try more next time.

Great quality and flavor!
Finding a restaurant that includes quality vegan and gluten free options is always a treat. We had an amazing asparagus and artichoke salad, as well as veggie and portabello burger. The decor was very nice and pleasing.

For starters, apparently the head chef left in the middle of his shift recently.... So we weren't aware of any changes based on their website it Google reviews, but it was a substantially limited menu from what is usually offered. Nonetheless, even with the limited menu, the food was still great. But, to keep this short... We were happy with our choices in the end, but greatly disappointed with the available options. 90% of the menu was basically eliminated by one person. No restaurant should ever operate like this.

Wonderful menu and quite interesting. I always find myself going back for the crab bisque and the buffalo burger however there is quite a lot more to discover here. Definitely worth a try for almost any appetite.
