RiverGrille on the Tomoka

I have to admit that I was quite pleased with the overall experience. We arrived about 3 p.m. for an early dinner as my son and his wife were heading back north. The seating on the patio was very comfortable and roomy for 4 people. Jennifer our waitress was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Service was reasonably quick plating was appetizing and portions adequate. We were all happy with our meals and had no complaints with pricing.

The food was good not to die for but Very fresh and pleasant. Food not overcooked or undercooked. Seasoning is sprinkled on top of fish after it is cooked.the serving sizes were pretty small in comparison to what I'm used to. My 7 year old could eat a full plate alone.

Love the location, on the Tomoka River. Atmosphere is wonderful. Great, friendly service. Food was very good! We like to take friends, family and visitors from out of state there and they always enjoy it!

Beautiful place. Service was great. The crab dip was excellent. Sadly, I ordered shrimp tacos and they were way below average. The shrimp tasted like it had been microwaved, never saw a grill or pan for sure and tortillas were hard.

Nice place. Came for happy hour and something fried. Sat at their open air bar-got the small combo with shrimp, scallops, and fish. All fish was PERFECTLY COOKED. NICE JOB. The bar overlooks a river, yet the only negative was that it was a bit too close to the highway. Food was excellent though. Bartender was pleasant enough. I LOVED hearing two men talking on the other side of the "baah" talking with think Boston accents. Delightful.
