Alexander's Ormond Beach

I simply cannot rave enough about this establishment. The food was delectable and fresh. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very nostalgic. The decor was giving art deco vibes.

We came here to celebrate with my stepdaughter and her new husband before they moved to Washington State. We wanted it to be memorable and special; it did not disappoint! My husband and I had the Aged Porterhouse for two. We like our steak rare, and it was cooked perfectly. It was delicately crispy on the outside and so tender. We are still talking about that steak a week and a half later. Our server was attentive in just the right way...our water glasses seemed to magically fill without noticing our server had been by. Everything was elegantly simple and delicious. I already know what I want to order next time!

Everything was phenomenal! The food service at atmosphere were all on par with nationally renowned steak houses. We had the bone marrow and delmontico steak for 2. The aging on the steak added such great flavor that the chef added only light seasoning. Service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive and the decor was artdeco old fashioned. Feels like something special and it really is. This is a place that absolutely will impress for a special occasion.

The place just opened early 2024 but has got great reviews. No website as of this writing so you must call to get reservations. Food is fantastic. Owner owns Arno's in NYC that is awesome as well. We had a party of 6 and tried almost the entire menu. All of it was great. Loved the steak tartare with a bit of spice, steaks were awesome, loved the Delmonico. Both pastas were divine. Burger was really good, we suggest in medium rare. Calmiari was wonderful and fries were outstanding. Be sure to try the hash browns with creme fracie, very good. All desserts were awesome, loved the hot out of the fryer made to order doughnuts with gelato, carrot cake was great and chocolate cake pastry with crumbles is super fantastic. Great wine list, easy to park and lots of tables, open 4 to midnight 7 days a week. This will be our new go to steakhouse in Volusia for sure. My husband and I came for a little date night. Everything was superb as soon as we came into the door. We had Oysters, which are from St. Augustine fresh every morning. We had the Dry-Aged Porterhouse for 2, truffle butter, whipped potatoes and asparagus. Absolutely wonderful. We ordered rare for the temp and it came out just how we wanted. The owner and manager came around, introduced themselves and to ensure everything was up to par many times. Multiple servers exhibit a teamwork mentality by coming around to help one another.

This is exactly what Ormond Beach needed; an upscale steakhouse with laid back vibes. I can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back.
