Ledo Pizza

First, I grew up on Ledos Pizza in Langley Park Maryland at the original before it franchised so I know what the food should taste like. That being said, no franchise tastes like the original so keep that in mind.

I ordered the thick cut pepperoni pizza, this is a specialty of Ledos. The pizza was hot and the toppings were plentiful (the standard is one pepperoni per square). The crust is signature Ledos. The taste however is bland, certainly not the Ledos flavor one would expect if they are familiar with Ledos.

I have eaten at many franchise Ledos and they all have their taste differences. This one lacks the taste needed to be called great. No idea if it is because it is fairly new or some other reason. They need to figure it out. Ledos Pizza is one of the best out there but I can't say that about the one I got. There's something missing and I hope they figure it out because the next closest Ledos is over 100 miles away.

We're from Maryland, so having a taste of home here in Florida is a huge treat. We've been traveling to the Ledos in Tampa. Now there is this new location in Ormond Beach! It was amazing! And the decor ! Little bits of home. We'll def be regulars!

The pizza here is very unique. The crust is thin and super flaky. The sauce is sweet but very timid. They use provolone cheese unlike most pizza places. The interior and exterior of this place is an Omage to maryland. Hailey provided excellent service. This spot is a gem and I can't wait to return for more delicious quisiene.

I visited Ledo's for the second time yesterday for lunch. We dined in the dog friendly outdoor patio area.
Our server was excellent as was the food. They offer a large selection of food items and have gluten free options and a children's menu. Beer and wine.
Prices were fair as well.
Some reviewers complain about the pizza crust but I liked that it is different and unique.
Yeah, its not New York style, but give it a break already.
