Our Deck Down Under

This is a large mostly deck area with a great view of the Halifax River. As the name suggests, it is located near the east ramp of the Dunlawton Bridge. There is lots of free parking under the bridge. Order off the wall menu, pay at the cashier and your food will be delivered to your table by friendly staff. Mainly burgers and fish dishes with some specialties. On a whim I had the Jambalaya and it was excellent. The others at the table all enjoyed their meal and the experience. A very casual dining experience that was quite enjoyable.

Scenic location adjacent to Dunlawton Bridge. Menu heavy on fried seafood, but other preparation is available. Self serve, open seating, full bar. Quality has been consistent for many years. Sit on the deck and watch the boats and birds. Cycle enthusiasts be aware no emblems or insignias. This is a welcoming place for all.

This is a different type of restaurant for me. You read the menu from a board while waiting to order, place your order, pay, and then find a seat. We found a great seat on the deck under an awning. From there we waited for our food to be delivered to the table. Some delicious seafood and other unusual fare. Great view, nice atmosphere. Enjoyed our meal and visit.

The food was great! The service could have been better. We normally tip at 20%, but if the gratuity wasn't added in due to the party being over 6, I would have tipped 10%. There was only 1 waitresses on our table of 22. This was planned ahead and could have been handled better.
Again, the food was delicious.

The chowder was absolutely amazing. The deviled crab was equally delicious. The beer was cold, I wish it came in a glass as opposed to a plastic cup. But nonetheless, it was still very enjoyable. Right on the water, sitting outside, with a nice breeze of the Florida later winter. Nothing better. Friendly staff. Will go back again. again and again.
