This convenience store is my favorite of all the ones in Volusia County (and I travel around often for work). In fact, I will go miles out of the way just to patronize this one. As a resident of the Daytona area for over a decade, I believe this store is the most convenient, pleasant, clean, and accommodating. I can even tell you some of their names... Cheryl is a kindhearted woman with wisdom and attention to detail. She has taught me tips to make my dollar go further. She is dedicated, professional, and consistently willing to go the extra mile. Daron always has a smile, is down to earth, and, like Cheryl, is always working hard to keep the store immaculate. Barbi is a sweetheart and a ray of sunshine with a good work ethic and cheerful personality. Jocelyn greets with a smile and demonstrates a desire to please the customer and care for the store. Alexa is also a good employee. I once went through some financial strain and only had two bags of coins amounting to over $30. Alexa stated they take all tender and I felt uplifted when I left rather than embarrassed. The list goes on... I have only had positive experiences in this store over years of being a patron. If I were the owner, I would do what ever it took to keep this wonderful crew! Oh, and the store is well-lit, exceptionally clean, with great prices especially on soda and beer. Unfortunately, I will be relocating to New Mexico... My husband, Dolph, asked me what I'd miss the most... On my list of top 5 things... is the Kangaroo Express on the corner of Clyde Morris and Dunlawton in Port Orange. After answering him, we agreed I should write this review to give them a shout out.
