“We're locals and this was our first visit. Food was delicious, place is small with few staff members but it's part of the ambiance. They were super busy, which is usually a good sign. My 6 year old had her manners in full force today, which was recognized by one of the ladies working, I didn't catch her name, so she came over to our table, praised my daughter, and gave her a ticket for a free ice cream. Incredibly friendly and personable staff, we all loved our choices, perfect little beach day taco spot. We'll definitely be back.”

Personally came to our table to make sure everything was even better than expected. We had 5 adults and 5 picky children [ages 8-17] for my wife's birthday one Saturday night. Gotta try the smoked deviled eggs [I know but my 15 year old daughter even loved them] and the Tuna appetizer was amazing among others. And the desserts were REALLY good. Donut bread pudding... = Coma! it was so good. The 8 year old ordered something she usually eats at home I guess like grilled chicken on fettuccine and it wasn't even on the menu and they made it! AND the owner himself brought it out. We ate upstairs and that seemed like it would be a good place to have a party/function. They have a full bar and very nice wine choices. I think they are also having wine tastings etc. So look it up if interested. Nice spot.”

“Very nice experience with good friends, good food, good service, and a good atmosphere. The wife and her husband run it, and they were very friendly, easy going, and took the time to talk with us and tell us the story of how the tea room came about. The prices are good and reasonable. My group of six did the High Tea Option, and it was plenty. They even had a place card on the table that said "Melia's Tea." Everything was fresh, homemade, and good. There are numerous options for tea; at first it was hard to choose which one. And it was good tea. The tearoom is decorated in a quaint, vintage style and you get real teacups and teapots of different designs and patterns. It was quiet, comfortable, and we all had a good time. I already plan on going back. You can even just get a scone with lemon curd, strawberry jam, and clotted cream, along with a pot of tea for $7.50. You should make a reservation if you have a larger party, which can be best to do a few weeks to a month in advance, because they do host private parties on the weekends. All in all, a cute, relaxing place to spend some time with friends and a good tea.”
