“We enjoyed a late lunch (3pm) and watched a soccer game. Given the time, I can't speak to efficiency during peak times, but service was as quick as would be expected. I had the Bacon Cheese burger with the Beer Onions. It was fantastic. Cooked to a true medium rare and plenty big. I choose their Irish Red from the huge selection of drafts and it was very tasty. Staff was friendly.”

“It is great to checkout old family run restaurants. This place has that old dinner vibe and menu. There are some great southern food choices such as grits. I ordered a simple breakfast of bacon, overeasy eggs, and hash browns. The eggs were absolutely perfect. The hash browns had a great crust, but the bacon was not crisp. Initial service was a little slow, but once they got to me, the food order came quickly and my coffee cup stayed full. The biggest draw are the prices. Everything I ordered and it was all less than $10.”

“A word to the wise... Don't blink, you might miss it. This place has a down home feel with all the coziness of a neighborhood bar. Although some might be reticent in trying something new, I highly recommend the fried frog legs. They were tender and not at all "gamey" as I half expected. The service was outstanding given the bartender was juggling making drinks and covering the floor simultaneously. She was very attentive and was eager to provide suggestions on which menu items might grab our interest. My only recommendation is that for those who like their sweet tea really sweet: add one packet of sweetener of choice and it's perfect! We definitely look forward to going back soon ???? !!!”

“My uncle treated us to a wonderful meal here and I can't wait to bring my friends out here, it is worth the drive. Not certain scenery along the water, boats passing by at times. Great way to spend an afternoon. The fish I had was fresh and think breaded, very tasty. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. We stayed past eating just to enjoy the view and no one rushed us to leave, a nice crazy change from some of the more chain like restaurants in town.”
