The food was bland. I agree with others. The white rice mixed with soy sauce is not what Americans call "fried rice". And let's be honest, this is a strip mall take-out serving Americanized "Japanese" food. Texture of food was overall mushy, except the shrimp was overcooked. I ordered the steak "rare" and I got medium well. Miso soup was good, egg drop watered down, and the Clear soup was clear- no flavor at all. I had ordered online through their website. There was no option to leave any note/requests. I called the number listed and was told only the manager could speak to me about online orders. I told her I only wanted to be sure the sushi rolls had very light sauce on them. She said she would have the manager call me back. No one ever did. When I picked up my order, they told me they outsource those calls. So none in the building even knew I called in the first place!
I enjoy good hibachi, and let me tell you.... This place has excellent hibachi! My Wife got the Rainbow roll and really enjoyed it as well. And lastly, price vs quantity, let the pictures speak for themselves. I got chicken hibachi and it was enough for at least 2 people. You can stop reading reviews and eat here. You won't regret it.
Food was prepared fast and it was very good! We ordered a large order of 8+ meals and everything we ordered was correct! The chicken and steak were a little dry and tough in textures. I would request extra teriyaki sauce next time because you really couldn’t taste it. Besides that the dumplings and sushi rolls were great! They gave large portions and the prices ranged from $10-$17 for all the dishes we ordered.
Seating is very limited inside. They only have 5 booths and tables in the middle of the room. The way it is oriented the take out line of people is so long no matter where you sit there will be people standing around you. The seating is definitely meant more for a to-go place then a sit down restaurant.
Parking is in a shared lot with Publix.
The actual restaurant is very small, so we opted for takeout. There was a line, but the service was quick. The chicken and shrimp teriyaki was delicious. I saw some complaints about the fried rice only being rice and soy sauce, but this is how Osaka serves rice. The meal included stir fry veggies that you are supposed to mix with the rice. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the chicken was juicy. Can't wait to go back and try the sushi at this location.
