“UPDATE. We came to St. Mark’s for a getaway weekend. Came here last night and back again tonight. First night we had the Buffalo shrimp wrap and the Caesar chicken wrap. Tonight we had the loggerhead burger and the pulled chicken sandwich. I’m here to tell you the food is absolutely amazing! Service is on par with the food as well, friendly local staff. Hand ground and patted beef, local fish and shrimp, and great local brews on tap. This place is a must visit! Even if you live in Tallahassee, worth the drive. A must visit. UPDATE. Hanna (our very sweet waitress) this one is for you. We came back again tonight, third night in a row on Hanna’s recommendation. She advised us to get the loaded potato salad. We order and tried it. BEST POTATO SALAD EVER. NO Mayo, it’s sour cream based. This beats my mother’s hands down. Thanks Hanna! See you guys next time.”

“Stopped in on a whim...so surprised at this hidden gem here locally in St. Marks. Lunch sandwiches were crazy good. We had to go back just to confirm how good they were. Simple menu but the basics. Glass bottles sodas, canned local beer, coffee...etc. But the lunch sandwiches...we had the Italian (yum!) and the BLT with cheddar (yum!) and the boys had cheese pizzas and Shirley temples. Chill spot to get a bite and relax of the beaten path...but just around the corner.”

“We were a party of 8 that came in unannounced, which we don't normally like to do, but circumstances happen. The food was quite good, I had the mushroom and Swiss burger medium and I quite enjoyed it. Us being travellers, several of us came in wearing masks even though we are all vaccinated. The staff was great, but it was obvious some of the clientele were making fun of us. If you head through this area and you like burgers or chicken, it may be worth stopping at. No one outright antagonized us, but we all felt like we were considered outside the circle of locals. Still, good food, if you don't wear masks, or don't care what people think, you can have a tasty meal here.”

“Before leaving Crawfordville, we wanted to have breakfast at noon and we were lucky to find this great place to eat. As soon as you get there, you know a local business is good when they have a waiting list. They greeted us and in less than 10 minutes got us a seat. The lady that took care of us was very sweet and attentive. Customer service was just great. The food arrive very quick and was very tasty. A great american diner experience. “My husband and I stopped by last night after a long day of driving. We almost kept going after seeing the long line of cars wrapped around the building. I’m glad we didn’t. The line moved really fast and we were greeted by the very friendly voice over the speaker in no time. Before we knew it we were at the window with another friendly greeting, paid, and were on our way with our hot, fresh order within 30 seconds of reaching the window. Whatever Zaxbys is doing to get great staff, especially during a time when so many other places can’t even stay open for their advertised hours due to lack of staff, keep it up!”
