George's At Alys Beach

Took the family out for dinner. Sat outside on a rather chilly afternoon but was warmed by the radiant heaters over the table. Staff is very professional and attentive. Food is well seasoned and good portions nicely presented on the plates.

So, my wife has to take medicine that dries her skin. I asked the manager if they had anything bland. He brought the chef out to meet me and I explained it to him. I also needed it to go because she was tired and needed to rest. The chef understood and gave me options. I took those options to my wife (who was waiting in the car. She picked the salmon and I chose the steak. They brought me the food and the bill. The meal was on the house and it was the best meal we had in Rosemary Beach! Thank you so much! It’s nice to know there are still kind people in the world!

Average. The calamari was delicious, the lamb shank special was ok, just lacked depth of flavor. The premixed old fashion wasn't great. Good staff but kitchen timing way off (ordered kids chicken ten minutes prior to our apps, and apps came out first). Other restaurants by this group are better.

Our party of 8 dined at George’s last night. We found the service to be attentive with our meals served promptly. The food was tasty with good portions ( with exception of the 2 tablespoons of cole slaw) offered with my meal. The prices are quite high( $30 for my oyster dinner..10-12 small to medium oysters, fries, 2 small hush puppies and a very very small container of cole slaw) so be prepared to pay dearly for your meal.

Incredible food and service. Don't miss it. It's an easy stroll from Alys Beach or Rosemary Beach.
