    We went here on the recommendation of my daughter and son in law. I ordered the shrimp and crawfish pasta. My wife ordered the shepherd's pie. My daughter had a cheese calzone and my mother had a stromboli.

    The seafood pasta was great and the calzone was reported as great as well. That's where things got interesting. The shepherd's pie was dry and was missing something we just couldn't place. The stromboli, it has chunks of chicken in it? Both people who ordered it were surprised by that. There was no mention of that in the menu and if it were they would have ordered something else. Other than the shepherd's pie, everything tastes good for what it was.

    Be careful and ask questions I guess and you might be a bit less surprised than we were.

    Corn beef and potatoes on a pizza?? Yup, it was delicious! Irish chicken stew soup was great comfort food. Staff was super and we even had a quick chat with the pizza artist. Will definitely come back when I visit to try another creation.

    This was my first time eating lunch here on 3/3/23! Oh my goodness…
    What I had been missing!
    This place is amazing!
    Atmosphere, waitresses, and the FOOD Is AWESOME 🤩!
    THE EMBERS BISTRO in DeFuniak Springs, Florida!
    If you have not been or if you are traveling through the area they are truly wonderful!!
    Keep up the great job!!
    So happy to see downtown DeFuniak is coming back to life!! Has been a long time since the downtown has been booming!!

    Embers is a shining light in downtown DeFuniak. Owners Chuk and Ashley have created a dining experience like no other in our town. The food and cocktails are fun and imaginative. The staff is always friendly and attentive. We always enjoy ourselves whether sitting at the bar having a drink or with friends at a table.

    Love me some Embers!! Christmas Eve brunch was amazing from the service,food,&drinks!! I have been multiple times for brunch,lunch&dinner and have had wonderful experiences. Tried my 1st espresso martini & I am hooked! So happy to have such a fantastic establishment in town!!!
