Pompano Joe's

Open air, covered dining, weather permitting. Our waitress was exceptional and could even be a tour guide!
Food was great, both kids meals and adult dinners. Intriguing drinks as well. We had a fun, relaxed meal watching the beach and enjoying a breeze.
Must eat place in Destin.
Parking is full daily until perhaps 6 or 7, when the public beach empties. We had to park at our condo and walk the .8 miles, and it was definitely worth the effort.

Pompano Joe's is amazing! Great food and service. Like other reviews mentioned, they can get very busy. We arrived at about 4:15 and were told it would be a 30-45 minute wait, but we only ended up waiting 20 minutes which was wonderful. You have a great view of the ocean while you eat as well.

Let me start by saying that the wait is well worth it. The food was great a little pricey but worth it. The server was great she was very helpful and was great with the kids. If you like mixed drinks and hanging out on the beach this is the place for you. Will definitely be returning on my next trip.

Absolutely delicious food! We had the mozzarella sticks. I had the fried seafood lunch special with shrimp and scallops. My husband had the fish tacos with black beans and rice. Great atmosphere for lunch. Hostesses and servers were awesome.
We are staying across the street for the week so we have seen actual busy times. It's not too crazy for lunch but dinner gets really busy. A little pricey but worth it.
