Bayou Bill's Crab House

Ate here twice in one week while on vacation in Oct 2021. Excellent and friendly service and great food. Since we were in the area during off-peak season, we were seated quickly even though they were busy at opening time. After trying multiple seafood restaurants in the area, this was our favorite!Would definitely return if in the area sometime in the future.

Overall the place was good. The crab cakes were nothing but filler and soggy, but I have high standards as a Marylander. The score crabs were good and and the sides were decent. The best item we ordered was the sushi! I got Bill's Tuna roll and it was divine. The tuna was so fresh that it melted in my mouth.

It was a great place to take kids and for large groups (we had 8). The atmosphere was good too.

Our first time eating here and we were pleasantly surprised and pleased. My husband got the gumbo and seafood platter and was happy and full with it. I got the crab bisque (very good) and snow crab and it did not disappoint as well. Only reason for the 4 stars is it was a tad bit overpriced. I got more snow crab for cheaper at other places near by. But we will definitely try this place again next visit.

Started with the Calamari that was fried to a golden crisp an pared with a tasty remoulade sauce. Gumbo is one of the best on the coast, atmosphere is a great beach casual with a little Cajun flair. Seating time was 25 minutes, waiter was prompt and kept our drink glasses full. Appetizers were out before the meal and our meal (shrimp, fish and vegetables) were cooked to perfection.

House special! That's just for you Daddy's. Give the boy's/Girl's the shrimp and crab. Blue is locally produced, but it takes a bit more picking. So snow is a great option. Ladies order from the steamer, broiler, (Fish of the day) Blackened!, or the fried selection. It's it just depends on your personal taste. Family friendly. Great staff.
