(September 8, 2019, 1:38 pm)Great bbq old school Brunswick stew like what I remembered as a child. friendly service more interested in taking care of the customer than what time they closed me and my wife got there close to closing and was told to enjoy our meal and not worry about what time they close they would wait. Love this little home town feel restaurant we drive an hour to get there to eat

(August 6, 2019, 1:32 pm)The staff was friendly. I had the pork platter with baked beans and potato salad. The pork didn't have a smoked or seasoned flavor. It was cooked appropriately but needed sauce to have good flavor. The sauce was very thin with a vinegar base. Overall, not a bad place but not the best. I rate them 3.5 stars.

(May 31, 2019, 7:08 pm)Fairly good meat cooked well. They use a very vinegar BBQ sauce. I'd prefer a sweeter BBQ sauce with pork though.
