Applebee's Grill + Bar

Food was very mediocre. Nothing to write home about. We did the 2 for $25. The chicken and shrimp thing was almost tasteless. The potatoes which are serviced on a sizzle plate where very oily. The ribs where on the dry side ---overcooked. The string beans where still a bit under cooked. The appetizer was the Asian chille wings. Those had flavor and a bit of a bite. The server was very proactive. Which was why a 3 star rating

Mahala our Server was awful! Started out complaining about a long day. After having attitude about how we ordered our food we asked if she could make sure our appetizers came out before our meal other customers received their food before we got ours then when we asked if the appetizers really took that long to cook and she started telling us there were only 3 servers and when I tried asking if everyone at the table could get another drink she just walked away ignoring me. Having seen this the manager came to our table and helped us get what we needed another waitress came over and helped change our experience. Which is why I'm still rating the restaurant with 5 stars...... Before judging me for what I've wrote here about this experience please note we did not want nor did we receive anything for free or discounted, and I spent most of my life serving tables and I do know what it's like on their side. You smile when your having a bad day, you listen to people's problems and have to keep yours to yourself, you feel the rush is never-ending and once it goes wrong you just can't seem to get it back right, however you keep smiling trying to make the best out of each new customer hoping to make ends meet. I know the job isn't easy...... Boy do I know it's not easy. But you just can't treat your customers that way. THANKS AGAIN TO ALL THE STAFF THAT HELPED TURN IT AROUND!!!!

Service was great. Food wise noodles I'm my chicken parmesan wasn't done all the way. The cheese sticks my son got was rubbery. I though I was getting spaghetti sauce with my noodles got a paste with seasoning very thick. More likely order something else next time or try some where else to go.

Today was not a good day at Applebee's in Commerce Georgia. First my oriental chicken salad had lots of pieces of brown lettuce. My granddaughters chicken alfredo was super dry it was stuck together like paste. The hamburger we received had a funny taste to it my granddaughter would not eat it. When we went in the bathroom it was very nasty it was black mold substance in the toilet and around the floor. The floors look to this they haven't been mopped in a very very long time. I had to clean the toilet before my granddaughter could sit on it. It was urine on all of the toilet because they were too dirty to sit on. There were two other ladies in the bathroom which myself and my granddaughters. They were also complaining about the condition of the bathroom. I asked to speak with a manager he said that he had not been in the ladies bathroom obviously he's a man. I suggested that as a manager not as a man he may want to check on the condition of his restaurant. And whoever is supposed to be cleaning it needs to learn how to clean. I also showed him a place between the ladies bathroom and the men's bathroom where the floor was very nasty. This disappoints me I expect more of any restaurant they are serving the public and the reflection of the nastiness of the restaurant makes you wonder about the cleanliness of there kitchen. Applebee's has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. The next time I go over I will check the condition of the restaurant before I order my food. Applebee's I hope you can pick up the pace on taking care of your restaurants.
