Food is excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect for a date or family dinner. Would have 4 stars on this, but I cant get past the lighting. It's very dim. When the elders pull out the flash lights to read the menu...you might want to brighten it up a notch.

There was a 15-20 minute wait, but it was so worth it. The ambience (lowlighting from the beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright inspired fixtures and soft jazz) was perfect. Our booth was spacious, and it easily accommodated us and another couple. Now for the food: delicious and unique. Our server was attentive and determined to give us no less than a wonderful experience. Cannot wait to dine here again.

This is probably my fourth time to this location. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant and the great service you always get. Tonight I did the southern catfish. The coleslaw and collards we're just not to my liking. I am not saying it was bad it just was not what I personally like. On the other three trips everything I had I thoroughly enjoyed. The smoked salmon appetizer is a must if you ever visit as well as the Cajun popcorn. So if you want to step up from the standard chain restaurants definitely go to the Appalachian Grill for great experience

Food was fantastic!! Our server was wonderful. There was an hour wait but it was nice outside in the rocking chairs. The atmosphere was really good! One of my top 5 places to go now. Perfect date for sure! I had fried grouper and hubby had steak. Price was worth it. Fried pickles and hush puppies were amazing!! Rwcommended to all of my friends.

Everything about this place was amazing! The server was wonderful, he was attentive, bit not in our face. The chef came out and asked how the food was. The food was amazing! The mushroom soup was to die for! My husband loved his seafood pasta, said it had the best fish that he has had since living in Alaska! I highly recommend eating here!
