As good as could be expected. I won't say it was great or fantastic but it was really good food and it was at a great price. The service was fantastic! The cornbread was almost perfect. It was moist and just the right consistency. If they would just back off the sugar it'd be some of the best I've ever had. Don't get me wrong but sugar just doesn't belong in cornbread, at least not enough to taste. The only reason to put it in at all is if you have bitter cornmeal. I like Corn Cake as much as the next guy, but it flat out sux to have sugar in your cornbread when you eat it in buttermilk or with pinto beans or Brunswick stew, and certainly not in cracklin cornbread! The vegetables were fresh and prepared correctly. The fish was a little over done but not burnt. The hushpuppies were good as were the pinto beans, and the baked chicken was wonderful! Yes I sampled dang near everything. The salad was good and fresh. As for the deserts I tried the Blueberry Cream Cheese pie, and a little Peach Cobler (I just couldn't resist!) And my Tea glass was never empty or out of ice! And that is important for a 100 degree day in October, the hottest on record they say. Laurin WB4IVG

No matter the wait we will always come here. Good home cooking food. The bathrooms can be more clean. But that doesn't make the restaurant. Everyone is also so nice!

Typical soul food all you can eat but seemed to be mostly canned or pre prepared foods items. Not much fresh or From Scratch. The desserts were definitely not from scratch.

I was very impressed with this restaurant. The food was hot and tasted amazing. It's just down home southern cooking. There were 6 adults and 4 kids in our party and we paid 80 dollars for all of us to eat before tip. For a buffet that's a great price. The staff was friendly and helpful. My little one spilled a whole cup of water and they cleaned it up with a smile on their face.
