(September 26, 2019, 1:32 am)Fantastic Southern cuisine at reasonable prices. The meat choices change daily, and there are a large variety of home-cooked veggies from which to choose. It’s a new favorite and is well worth the trip to Emerson, GA.

(September 15, 2019, 6:34 pm)We went Sunday after church and it was very busy but the food came out surprisingly fast. Our server was really good. The food was pretty good too. Especially their Fried Squash dipped in their ranch dressing! And their ranch was DELICIOUS!

(September 13, 2019, 5:02 am)Doug's Place was great. Friendly staff plus good southern style food. We stopped on our way home to Nashville from Atlanta. Will definitely keep it on our radar for future trips.

(September 1, 2019, 4:38 pm)Wonderful home style cooking. They have the best fried okra & Silver Queen creamed corn around. The Chocolate Delight a great end to any meal...when available. Expect to wait on Sundays but worth it.

(August 25, 2019, 6:03 pm)Good home cooking and a treat for a mommas that don't want to fuss with lunch on Sundays! Food value good + fast, & good looking servers and average $10 per person tip and all. Even got some pretty flowers/plants on the a way out.
