AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! Some of the best soul food I've had in a very long time. Sweet staff and fast service. The food is so flavorful. Every bite was HEAVEN! Even the homemade sauces were delicious. Very small shop but it's decorated with photos of customers which is sweet. I can't wait to go back again.

Everything and I mean everything is homemade. My biggest problem is walking in there and not spending all my money, because everything is beyond delicious. I recently moved to the area and stopped in to see what they were all about and I literally ate there every other day, because the portions you get are enough to last you for 2 days ,if you order the family specials. I don't even like peach cobbler or so I thought until I tried theirs. Michelle who is the owner is very personable. She remembered my name after only being there one time. Very busy place, so get there early and don't forget to order a ton of their baked beans. I have never tasted anything like them. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Check out their menu online and go, just go. I'm telling you, no matter where you drive from to get there, it is well worth it.

Been to J's about 12-15 times. The food has been consistently great. Especially love the Grilled Cheese & brisket sandwich. Also like their pulled pork, sausage and brisket. Their BBQ sauce is excellent too. For sides try the corn bread stuffing, Mac & cheese, or baked beans. I should try more of their menu but love what I always get!
