Catfish was very fresh including the oil which it was fried in. Crunchy on the outside and flakey on the inside. The hush puppies were cooked to perfection. Two kinds of pickles to get from. Not a big fan of the coleslaw. The atmosphere was pleasant. Generally clean. The staff is pleasant. When it's busy it's busy. Slight wait if you go one a busy night, but the food is worth it and the price is right for the portion. I look forward to sampling the rest of the menu.
Was quite a wait . But there were alot of big parties going on. Food was really good though! Waitress was on top of things and very attentive even with being very busy. Would recommend
Great food and service by the waitress, Jessica. The only drawback is the length of time it takes for the food to come out after ordering. I had the cajun tilapia with hush puppies and fries. All very good.
My husband and I wanted to go back to where his mother was born and spend the day driving around and see where his mother grew up. It has been 41 years since we had been there. While driving around we happened to come up on Ray’s Millpond. We had eaten there 41 years ago. We decided to eat dinner there. Joshua was our waiter, he was very attentive the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back again.
Some of the best fried fish in Georgia!! A true down home southern experience!! I've loved this spot since I was a kid, going with my grandparents every other weekend. Its an easily forgotten gem so don't be afraid to trek off the beaten path. It's well worth it
