Northside Cheers

Great pub. Small and unassuming exterior and location but full of surprises inside. Live band volume allowed us to both hear the music as well as each other (= a big +). I have a gluten intolerance, ordered a cheeseburger, which was cooked exactly as ordered, but couldn't have the fries. The cook offered to create fries just for me by converting a regular potato into steak fries. Such individual attention at a small establishment blew me away. The servers were very friendly and worked as a team. I would definitely go again when given the opportunity.

Gone through a couple ownership changes and renovations in the past couple of years but has definitely come back to its glory days. Great updated atmosphere and appearance inside that you would expect from the name “Cheers.” Easily the best bar fare on the north side of town with awesome drinks and great/friendly staff. This is definitely a great local watering hole.

The re-fried (or "twice-fried", as some people call 'em) chicken wings at this place are the best in town. Crispy - but not overcooked - perfection. Beer cheese nachos were so good, I've gotta find out how they make that beer cheese. Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, awesome food, and the daytime chef is a freakin' culinary genius. You will not be disappointed!

Cool little spot to hang out. It feels very old school. The whole place is cozy and the draft beer is cheap. What more do you want?? Can't wait to go back and enjoy an evening there again.
