Shark's Fish & Chicken Chicago Style

I am a fan of sharks but this particular location has been letting me down. I don’t mind waiting on my food so when I have to wait a while and my food And it still comes out cold that’s very disappointing to me. The sharks in milledgeville is always precise and consistent. I think I’ll stick with them from now on out. Very disappointed in the Mercer location

I am giving it 4 for flavor and quantity. The property is clean. Even though its not really a dine in place. There are lots of seating but I would not feel comfortable inside. The fries are just ok. The service start off poor but by the time the food was delivered it was much better.

Their fish is very good! My sister always gets the grilled grouper. Tonight mom got fried catfish and i got chicken wings. Everything is good. The fries are a little soft by time you get home, disappointing. If you are eating them in the restaurant they would be great. It is always busy when we go, so be prepared to wait a little or order ahead.

I ordered the fish & chicken combo. We had a communication issue though. I wanted whiting and wings with a side of chicken nuggets. I told the cashier I was a rookie and had never eaten here before. Anyway I ordered and there was no fish. The issue was I asked for whiting but didn't received any since we had a communication issue. I couldn't understand her southern accent and she couldn't understand my midwestern accent.

I had to pay almost $5 for a piece of whiting. If I wasn't on vacation I would've fought that because the other cashier said I ordered whiting. Yet she made me pay for their mistake. The right thing would've been to give me the fish for free since it was their mistake. When I did receive my whiting fish order it was delicious I'm negl to you guys. I look forward to eating here again when I come back to town. The staff was friendly but not helpful with regards to ordering until after the fact. You should definitely try this location. If it wasn't for the miscommunication I would've given them five stars.

This is a great fried food restaurant, you can get fried fish of any kind practically and fried chicken as well. The food tastes really nice cuz everything is fresh out of the grease so you're not going to get it sitting around. But to me the other thing about it upon completion and play them they sprinkle this seasoning powder stuff on it. To me that should be in the batter to add flavor throughout rather than just to hit your taste buds. Other than that the food comes out hot and fresh.
